plumeria pudica

I fell in love with this plumeria pudica that I saw recently at a nursery. It is commonly called the ‘hammerhead frangipani’ as it has long, hammerhead like, evergreen leaves. It apparently flowers year round in warm climates so I guess we’ll see how it goes in Brisbane!

    Such a delicate shot.

My husband bought me one earlier this year on Valentine’s day. It flowered continously until June. But over the past month or two, it has shed a lot of leaves. I am not sure what to do? Or whether it will survive the winter months of Melbourne? Any advice will be appreciated.

Please don’t panic. It’s normal for them to lose leaves, except in extremely hot climates such as Singapore. As soon as it warms up it’ll be covered in fresh green leaves.
